The KINNE Bed is an orthopedic dog bed engineered with 5 in of dual-density foam: 2 in of gel-infused memory foam over a 3 in firm support core. The memory foam spreads your dog's weight off their hips, elbows and shoulders, while the support core underneath is designed to hold them up, so their joints don't sink through to the floor and the bed doesn't flatten over time.

The 4 in bolsters give your dog support for their neck, or something firm to lean against. The cover is a polyester-linen weave rated past 50,000 double rubs, well beyond the 30,000 heavy-duty commercial seating is rated for, so it's made to take years of clawing and circling. It's finished with a KINNE patch on the side.

A water-resistant TPU-backed liner sits between the cover and the foam to stop most accidents before they reach it, and a non-slip silicone-dot base keeps the bed in place.

The result: orthopedic support that lasts, in a bed that looks like it belongs in your home. Every night, their joints get the rest they need, so your dog can stay healthy and active for years to come.

Trial and warranty

If the bed isn't right after delivery, there's nothing to ship back. Donate it to a shelter or rescue and we refund you in full.

The foam has a 10-year limited warranty: if the foam compresses below 3 in under normal use, we repair or replace it. The cover, zip and liner have a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects.

One measurement, nose to tail, tells you which size fits.

Measure from the nose to the base of the tail. Standard suits dogs up to 31 in and about 55 lb, Large up to 39 in and about 90 lb. Curled up, your dog fits inside the bolsters. Stretched out, they rest their head on one.

The outer line is the bed's full footprint. The inner line is the sleeping area inside the 4 in bolsters.

Built to last

Most spills stop at the liner, so the foam stays dry and supportive.

Foam that stays damp breaks down sooner and starts to smell. The liner between the cover and the foam stops most spills and accidents before they reach it, so the support underneath lasts, and the bed stays fresh. It lifts off and wipes clean. A large spill can seep through the seams.

A tightly woven polyester-linen in Oat, tailored with a concealed zip. It's rated past 50,000 double rubs, where heavy-duty commercial upholstery is rated from 30,000, so it keeps looking like part of the room, and it goes in the wash at 30°C.

Which size fits my dog?

Measure your dog from nose to the base of the tail. Standard (37 × 29 in) suits dogs up to 31 in and about 55 lb. Large (45 × 35 in) suits dogs up to 39 in and about 90 lb. Curled up, your dog fits inside the bolsters. Stretched out, they rest their head on one. Between sizes, go larger.

Is it good for older dogs, or dogs with stiff joints?

It was designed with them in mind. The gel-infused top layer takes pressure off hips, elbows and shoulders, and the firm 3 in core stops heavier or older dogs sinking through to the floor. The bolsters give them something steady to lean on. If your dog has a joint condition, your vet is the best guide: the bed supports them, but it isn't a treatment.

Will the foam flatten over time?

All foam softens slightly in the first weeks. The 3 in support core is there so the bed keeps holding your dog off the floor for years, and CertiPUR-US certification includes testing how foam holds its shape under repeated compression. The foam is 5 in tall when new. If it compresses below 3 in under normal use within 10 years, we repair or replace it.

Is the cover washable?

Yes. It unzips from a concealed YKK zip and machine-washes at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low. The liner underneath lifts off and wipes clean with a damp cloth.

What happens if my dog has an accident?

The TPU-backed liner (a water-resistant layer between cover and foam) stops most liquid before it reaches the foam. A large spill can seep through the seams, so take the cover and liner off, wipe the liner, and let the foam air-dry before you put it back together.

Is the foam safe?

Yes. All the foam is CertiPUR-US certified, which means it's made without ozone depleters, mercury, lead or other heavy metals, and tested for low emissions, which matters when your dog sleeps with their nose pressed into it. The cover fabric is certified to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100, so it's been tested for harmful substances. The bed is also tested to TB 117-2013, California's standard for smolder resistance.

How does the 100-night trial work?

It runs for 100 nights from delivery, and claims open after night 14, once the foam has reached its full height. If the bed isn't right, donate it to a registered shelter or rescue, then send us their name and address with a photo of the bed there or their written acknowledgment. We refund your original payment in full within 7 business days.
